Unmasked, Georges Meouchy at Rebirth Beirut Space

Born in Beirut in 1973, Georges Meouchy, with a master’s degree in law and two decades of legal practice, comprehensively understands social interactions. Throughout his career, he observed faces, shared emotions, and developed empathy.

The journey into art ignited when a Basquiat painting sparked an insatiable urge to create, capturing daily human expressions. As a self-taught artist, Georges started by sketching these faces on paper.

Later, he meticulously transferred them onto canvas, capturing joys, fears, greed, nonchalance, and goodness.

In September 2022, Georges actively participated in the Art to Learn, Art to Live Benefit online auction, supporting student financial aid and cancer care.

In March 2023, he showcased “Primal Impulse” at Rebirth Beirut Space in Gemmayzé.

On January 25, 2024, Georges unveils “Unmasked” at Aida Cherfan Fine Art @ Rebirth Beirut.
