The unstoppable smash hit STOMP comes to Lebanon on 16-18 November, promising an explosive performance.
Over the past 25 years, STOMP has grown into a worldwide sensation. It all started back in the 1980s when Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas worked together on a commercial for Heineken. The advertisement was called “Bins” and portrayed a group of dustmen who, after a few sips of Heineken, put on a spontaneous drum performance using bin lids to make the sounds. The success of the commercial was the starting point for the duo, and STOMP began.
Each year STOMP puts on a show that is hard to forget. Inventive and imaginative, the performers use ordinary objects like brooms, garbage cans and Zippo lighters to create vibrant, energizing beats. With absolutely no words spoken during the performance, the story unfolds only through music and dance moves.
2018 will be the last year STOMP is performed so don’t missing watching the award-winning show at Casino du Liban.
