MakeSense, a global community dedicated to supporting local entrepreneurs, hosted its second SenseCamp in Beirut (19-21 January) to discuss social issues affecting the country.
With events taking place at Sursock Museum, Phoenicia Hotel Beirut and Riwaq, more than 150 local and international participants gathered for three days of positive dialogue during a number of workshops and panel discussions.
Almost 30 key speakers from Lebanon, the MENA region and France gave inspiring talks on a variety of subjects including sustainable tourism in Lebanon, where a panel discussion was held in the presence of industry experts Jad Abou Arrage (LMTA), Gilbert Moukhaiber (Arc en Ciel), Abbas Sibai and Eddy Bitar (Live Love Beirut) and Naji Boutros (Chateau Belle-Vue). The session was moderated by MakeSense volunteer Alice Baghdadi.
