Sunset Hike Dhour El Choueir with Viltrail

Viltrail is organizing a sunset hike in Dhour El Choueir this Thursday. The hike will start from the main square and head towards the pine forest, passing the wooden bridges and Atlab trees. The trail will lead up a long staircase with views of churches and traditional houses with old arches, ending at the cave where philosopher Antoun Saadeh used to seek seclusion. After exploring the cave, enjoy the sunset with a view of the sea and Sannine Mountain at “Al Mtol.” The hike will conclude with a walk past the philosopher’s memorial and “3erzel” before returning to the bus.

• Transport: By bus (Hikers can be picked up along the way)
• Meeting Point: 4:30 a.m. at Nahr El Kalb Bridge
• Return Time: Around 9:00 p.m.
