Roofs Of The City, Maral Der Boghossian
Meet Maral and Nanor Der Boghossian, the sister artists behind the project “Roofs of the City.”
This project aims to showcase the beauty of Beirut’s rooftops through painted art pieces. Awarded a grant from BERYT – CCI, the two sisters are now able to resume painting, designing, and organizing their exhibition.
Maral’s art is inspired by houses, roofs, and colorful facades, while Nanor’s graphic design highlights Maral’s paintings. “BERYT taught us not to give up despite the multiple crises.”
UNESCO Beirut and BERYT – CCI introduce Maral and Nanor Der Boghossian, the creative duo behind “The Roofs of the City.”
As proud recipients of the BERYT – CCI (Batch 1 Grant), they are preparing for an exhibition to showcase their artistic masterpieces.
The BERYT project is led by UN-Habitat Lebanon, funded by the Lebanon Financial Facility (LFF) administered by the World Bank.
