Ouyoun El Siman, Mzar to Faqra by Hiking Zone Lebanon
We are excited to announce a hiking event on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Please read the following details carefully before booking.
This hike is challenging and requires fit hikers. The trail, while not dangerous, has some tough sections and slippery spots, so caution is necessary. The hike starts from Ouyoun el Siman at 1712 m and ascends to Mzâr peak at 2465 m, with a descent to Faqra. Participants should be prepared for a self-challenge and employ proper hiking techniques.
During the hike, you will enjoy beautiful views including Chabrouh Dam, Mar Charbel (Faraya), the French Room Peak and Cross, Akoura Heights, Qornet el Sawda, and more. Expect pleasant weather with a temperature around 18°C and a nice breeze.
What to Bring:
- Hiking shoes
- Hiking stick
- Energy bars or raw nuts
- Jacket (important)
- Hat and sunglasses
- Convenient clothing for hiking
- Minimum 1.5 L of drinking water
Price and Payment Details:
- Cost: $18 per person
- Includes: Transportation, guides, first aid kit, and photography
- Payment: Through OMT or BOB to confirm your spot
Please note that accidents or health insurance are not covered within the participation fee. It is your responsibility to have insurance and carry your ID card during the hike.
Important Notes:
- No music will be played on the Pullman
- Eating and drinking coffee on the Pullman is prohibited
