Loser Angeles is a visual artist currently based in Portugal. His work, created using a variety of mediums, features common subjects and characters that appear spontaneously, exploring and emphasizing what he describes as “the oddness of the ordinary.” Drawing heavy influence from the absurd and nonsensical, Loser Angeles creates pieces that challenge the viewer—or as he prefers, “the participant”—to abandon all recognition of meaning. His frequent use of bright, primary colors, bold graphics, and text reflects the primitive desire to see harmony in discord.

The artist has been quoted, both eloquently and tersely, as saying, “I think one of the strangest aspects of modern human life has to be the newfound need to broadcast their personal lives on the internet. The constant surveillance that humans provide each other leaves such little room for imagination.
