Allers/Retours, Exposition De Noël Fattal, Frédéric Husseini Et Rita Husseini

A Three-Voiced Exhibition

Poetic writing is a solitary act often shrouded in mystery. Poetry isn’t always easily accessible and can sometimes seem enigmatic. The same can be said for painting. However, when the two meet, they establish a dialogue, giving rise to diverse meanings that echo, accompany, nuance, and enrich the reading.

This exhibition project brings together unpublished short poetic texts written by Noël Fattal and their free transcriptions into acrylic paint and ink by Frédéric Husseini, each in an identical format. The third voice is that of Rita Husseini.

You are the fourth.

Next to each piece, a QR code allows you to listen to the text read aloud using your smartphone. Each piece is 22x42cm, with original texts and free transcriptions of 17x17cm, created with acrylic paint and ink on paper mounted on 5mm PVC, and a QR code for audio: 350 USD.

Noël, with his background as a linguist and his career as a diplomat, has learned the richness of multilingualism; through the unique logic of each language, he embraces the evident possibility of encountering others and fostering empathy.

Frédéric is an architect and painter. He believes that the viewer can engage with art, drifting in their own way along the framework set by the artist; it’s a certain kind of dialogue—sometimes unnecessary, gratuitous, ephemeral like the pleasures of life; at other times more profound, like a feeling.

Rita is a professor of literature and theater. She adds a third dimension through the colors her reading brings.

The event is finished.
