1. Jezzine Waterfall

Jezzine’s spectacular waterfall cascades down from a height of around 90 meters into a pool of clear water. It is surrounded by lush greenery and scenic views of the surrounding landscape.

Visitors can reach the site by hiking a scenic trail, which takes them through a pine forest and past several natural pools and small cascades.

A popular spot during the summer months, the area around the waterfall is ideal for picnics, and camping, with several camping sites and resorts located nearby.

2. Jezzine Water Source

The main water source in Jezzine, which flows through the town and provides water for agricultural, industrial and domestic purposes. In addition, there are several springs in the area that also serve the town. 3. Pine Forest of Bkassine

The pine forest in Bkassine is a natural reserve and is one of the largest pine forests in the country. The forest is home to a variety of plant and animal species, including oak trees, wild boars and wolves.

The forest attracts hikers and nature lovers thanks to its pretty hiking trails and picnic areas. Adventurous visitors can also enjoy horseback riding or mountain biking. Furthermore, a campsite is available within the reserve for those who wish to spend a night or more in the heart of nature.

As the pine forest is considered an important natural heritage site in Lebanon, efforts have been made to preserve and protect it from deforestation and other things that threaten its biodiversity.

4. Farid Serhal Palace

The Farid Serhal Palace is a splendid mansion that was built during the second half of the 20th century by Dr. Farid Serhal, a prominent Lebanese businessman and politician.

It exudes elegance, featuring a mix of Oriental, Indian and Ottoman architecture. Intricate stonework, and a large central courtyard define this unique property. The interior of the palace is decorated with colorful frescos, intricate plasterwork and marble floors.

During the Lebanese civil war, the palace was abandoned. However, it was partially restored in recent years and today serves as a cultural center and museum that showcases the rich history and heritage of the Jezzine region.

Visitors to the palace can explore its beautifully preserved interior, admire the architecture and learn about the history of the Serhal family, as well as the town as a whole.

5. Souk El Sedd

Jezzine’s Souk El Sedd is a bustling marketplace that offers a wide variety of goods, including fresh produce and handmade crafts, particularly the famous firebird cutlery. Visitors can enjoy wandering around its winding streets, watching artisans at work and experiencing the unique culture and hospitality of the region.
