Bhamdoun is a town in Lebanon 23 kilometers from Beirut on the main road that leads to Damascus and in the suburbs of the main tourist city of Aley , lying at an altitude of 1,100 meters, above the Lamartine valley. Two separate villages compose the town, Bhamdoun-el-mhatta (literally meaning "Bhamdoun the station") and Bhamdoun-el-day'aa ("Bhamdoun the village").
Before the civil war, Bhamdoun was one of Lebanon's most renowned and favorite summer resorts. Today, the town has regained some of its past tourism industry. It has more than 4500 hotel rooms and most of its hotels, restaurants and entertainment centers have been renovated or rebuilt.
During this new hike, we will see wonderful views, especially from the Bhamdoun heights that overlook the Shouf region, Aley and even Beirut.
We will walk between the vineyards,romain bridge and the beautiful streets of Bhamdoun.

‎بحمدون هي مدينة لبنانية تبعد ٢٣ كيلومتراً عن بيروت على الطريق الرئيسية التي تؤدي إلى دمشق وتقع في ضواحي مدينة عاليه السياحية ، وتقع على ارتفاع 1100 متر ،فوق وادي لامارتين. قريتان منفصلتان تؤلفان البلدة ، بحمدون المحطة (وتعني حرفيًا "محطة بحمدون") وبحمدون الضيعة ("بحمدون القرية").
‎ قبل الحرب الأهلية ، كانت بحمدون واحدة من أكثر المنتجعات الصيفية شهرة في لبنان. اليوم ، استعادت المدينة بعض اهميتها السياحية السابقة. تحتوي بحمدون على أكثر من 4500 غرفة فندقية وقد تم تجديد أو إعادة بناء معظم الفنادق والمطاعم ومراكز الترفيه التابعة لها.
‎ خلال مشينا على هذه الطريق الجديدة، سنرى مناظر رائعة ، خاصة من مرتفعات بحمدون مطلة على منطقة الشوف وعاليه وحتى بيروت.
‎ سوف نسير بين مزارع الكروم وعلى جسر روماني قديم وبين شوارع بحمدون الجميلة.
