Our hike this time will be in an area called 'Bwalee3' located in the villages of 'Abaydat' and 'Sakyet al Khayt' in Byblos District.
It is a place full of ancient caves and churches, dating as far as a thousand years old.
The caves are carved high in the rocks, and you will need to climb an iron ladder to get into them. Unfortunately, they are not very well known. The hidden treasures and beauty of Lebanon are yet to be unveiled.
Our first visit will be to the cave of Mar Semaan, one of Mar Maroun's followers. It is a very old cave, more than a thousand years old. There are remains of frescos painted on the inner walls.
Then we will continue to the church of Mar Antonios, dating around 600 years. It is a steep downhill walk to the church, and a steep uphill to return. Then,we will walk along a track rich in beautiful views to reach Sakyet al Khayt village.

Finally, we will go to the city of Byblos, where we will walk through its old Souks &Have free time there.
سيكون مشينا هذه المرة في منطقة تدعى البواليع على طريق مغاور النساك بين قريتي "عبيدات" و "ساقية الخيط" في قضاء جبيل.
إنه مكان مليء بالكهوف والكنائس القديمة ، التي يعود تاريخها إلى ألف عام.
الكهوف محفورة في الصخور ، وسنحتاج إلى تسلق سلم حديدي للدخول إليها. لسوء الحظ ، هذه المنطقة ليست معروفة جيدا وهي تعتبر من كنوز لبنان الخفية الجميلة جدا.
ستكون زيارتنا الأولى لكهف مار سمعان ، أحد أتباع مار مارون. إنه كهف قديم جدًا ، عمره أكثر من ألف عام. هناك بقايا من اللوحات الجدارية المرسومة على الجدران الداخلية.
ثم نكمل مشينا لنصل الى كنيسة مار أنطونيوس التي يرجع تاريخها إلى حوالي 600 عام وهذه الطريق شديدة الانحدار لنصل إلى الكنيسة والعودة منها.بعدها،سنسير على طول مسار غني بالمناظر الجميلة حتى نصل الى قرية ساقية الخيط.
المسافة هي حوالي ٩ كلم والمستوى متوسط.

اخيرا،سنذهب الى مدينة جبيل حيث سنمشي في اسواقها القديمة ويكون لنا وقت حر هناك.
