Our first step in Batroun district before hiking will be in at the Hardine monastery and Romanian Mercury temple which was severely damaged by an earthquake decades ago.

After our historical visit we will start hiking with slow steps around 2.5km/hour even slower in slippery places since our trail is mostly downwards where we need to work as a teamwork in specific hard downhills.

On our way to our first stop at level 1 in Tannourine el Tahta we will pass through breathtaking views going downwards from top of the mount.

We will also pass through old historical bridges in addition to breathtaking scenery if the weather is sunny and not too cloudy on our way down until we reach our final point in Beit Chelala.

Our hiking information:
- Distance: 14km -15km Full Hike (7km Level 1)
- Hiking level is Moderate Medium 5/10
- Cumulative ascent: +80m
- Cumulative descent: -700m
- Altitude: max 1500m min 800m
- Time for hiking between 5:00 till 6:00 hours slow steps 2km/h
- We will have approximately 5 short breaks of around 3 mins each before we reach the end.

Best things to bring with you for hiking are the following:
- Backpack
- ID Card or Passport
- Self Insurance Card
- Hiking shoes needed always.
- Cap or Hat
- Sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Hiking stick if needed
- 2 liters of water
- Thin jacket in case you feel cold.
- Dried fruits or chocolate power bars for hiking or sandwiches from home.
