Let's go this time to our hike from Bkassine to Jezzine.
Bkassine was named one of the best tourist villages in the world by the World Tourism
Bkassine is a charming, scenic and peaceful village located 70km away from Beirut, lying at an average altitude of 810m, south of Jezzine on a small hill surrounded by a magnificient 3 million-square-meter forest, the largest pine forest in Lebanon and the Middle East.
Bkassine is a traditional Lebanese town with red-tile roof houses and narrow streets.
Jezzine is famous for its old souks and its high waterfall(the 5th highest waterfall in the world.)
Our hike will start from Bkassine Road.Then you will hike along an easy downhill trail in the pine forest. The trail is in the shade of trees where views of Jezzine, the waterfall, Niha and the Chouf region can be seen. You will pass by some water sources, then descend old stone stairways in the woods to reach finaly Jezzine Village.
مشي في الطبيعة من قرية بكاسين التي صنفت من قبل منظمة السياحة العالمية كواحدة من افضل القرى السياحية في العالم لكونها تحتوي على اكبر غابة صنوبر في الشرق الاوسط وصولا الى مدينة جزين التي تشتهر باسواقها القديمة الجميلة وبشلالها الرائع الذي هو خامس اعلى شلال في العالم.

Easy: 7 Km
Medium:12 Km
Lunch break will be in an amazing place(plz bring your snacks with you) or you can take your lunch in a restaurant in Jezzine(a la carte)

*In bus:15$/person(transport,guidance)
*In your own car:10$/person
N.B:the insurance is not included

Departure:7:45 AM from Jounieh near "cafe abi nasr" behind stade fouad chehab.
*7:55 AM near mobilitop nahr el mot.
*8:00 AM near Al nahar news paper downtown Beirut.
N.B:we can pick up all hikers who live on our way.
