APC also advocates for animal welfare, raising awareness about compassionate care and responsible ownership.

Beirut for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (BETA) is a leading charity in Lebanon committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and caring for animals in need. Since its inception, BETA has saved over 9,000 animals, including dogs, cats, horses, monkeys, rabbits and even turtles. Their shelter currently provides a safe haven for more than 1,150 dogs, 262 cats and a variety of other animals, from horses and monkeys to an eagle and a pig. BETA not only offers these animals essential medical care and rehabilitation but also works tirelessly to find them loving forever homes.
