“Pièce Unique” is an original concept focusing on the presentation and sale of paintings. Located in the heart of the ‘Marfa’ arts district, a new establishment called Kii Beirut will showcase the works of renowned artists starting from February 22, 2024. Beyond offering high-end culinary experiences, the paintings add an artistic expression to the space, providing an element of exclusivity for collectors who discover a new piece every month. The innovative quarterly hanging cycle, curated by Randa Sadaka, ensures that visitors engage with an artist’s pictorial production by becoming acquainted with their brushstroke.
The selection and curation emphasize contemporary art pieces within an intimate setting, offering a personalized experience for aesthetes to interact with the cultural and artistic community.
The first exhibition cycle features the works of Simon Mhanna, with the inauguration scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 6 p.m.
The narrative revolves around a canvas, the heroine of the story. Kii Beirut elevates gastronomy to the status of art, according to the vision of its co-founders, Jad Abou Jaoude and Donald Batal.
