Baalbeck Evenings, the return, Performer: Soumaya Baalbaki /Musical direction: Loubnan Baalbaki
Notre-Dame de Louaizé Choir. Inaugurating the 2022 Baalbeck Festival, the evening will include tarab, traditional folk tunes as well as many old-time favorites.Paying tribute to the great figures of Lebanese songs, the performance will be led by Soumaya Baalbaki, one of Lebanon’s most authentic voices, who will be accompanied by an orchestra of more than 35 musicians conducted by maestro Loubnan Baalbaki, and with the participation of the Notre-Dame de Louaizé Choir With this evening, the Festival wishes to kindle the richness of traditional Lebanese music. - Steps of Bacchus Temple

Adonis

After a year-long absence from their home country, Adonis will make their comeback at Baalbeck, performing their biggest hits, as well as exclusive material from their upcoming new album. Combining signature Arabic lyrics with stellar pop arrangements, Adonis’s music appeals to several generations and boasts a huge following in Lebanon and the region, having gathered a 7,000-strong crowd at one of their most recent concerts alone! Trio José Quevedo “Bolita” Flamenco-Jazz

A beautiful evening of Flamenco-jazz in collaboration with the Spanish Embassy.
After receiving the Giraldillo Award at Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, flamenco guitarist and composer José Quevedo “Bolita” presents his show Caoìtico Triìo for the first time in Lebanon at the Baalbeck Festival. Caoìtico Triìo is an adaptation of the band’s successful and award-winning show Caoìtico. Bolita Big Band, which perfectly combines the most traditional flamenco with the sounds of jazz. The cast will be completed with the artists Rafael de Utrera on “cante” and Carlos Merino on percussion. This evening is inscribed in the Baalbeck Festival’s tradition of cultivating artistic exchanges across cultures. - Baalbeck Acropolis
