65,000 LL per person including transport (comfortable air-conditioned Pullman), guides, 5 minutes warming up, stretching, pictures & snowshoes. Special price 60,000 LL for young under 18 years old.

Optional transportation by your own vehicles. 50,000 LL/person

There is 5.000LL Extra entrance fee to Ehden Cedar Forest.

Cancellation requests must be received at least 24 hours prior to the event start date. Cancellations received with less than 24 hours’ notice will forfeit the amount of 30,000 L.L. as provision for liquidated damages.

 

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

Our Snowshoeing event this time will be in Ehden Cedars Reserve.

Horsh Ehden ranges from 1250 to 1950 m. It is rich in biodiversity and constitutes a shelter for various kinds of flowers and wild animals and a haven for all bird species. It contains 70 species of plants that have been given the name of Lebanon (Berberis libanoticum, Alyssum libanoticum...)

The amazing scenery that your eyes catch upon reaching these amazing landscapes is indescribable.

 

As usual, there will be two levels of difficulty.

 

Level 3 (Distance of 5km - 2,5 Hrs approx. at slow pace - Altitude is 1420m to1560m) is an easy walk. It is a beautiful uphill smoothly walk at the beginning, that will start near Nabaa Jouit and continue to Ain Naasa at 1600 m level to have lunch. There you will be able to contemplate that beautiful white landscape of the area.
From there, you will head down. The forest becomes mixed with conifers including the majestic cedar and fir. Afterwards you will continue downhill crossing by a pine forest to the lowest entrance of the natural reserve.

 

Level 5 (Distance of 8.5km - 3,5 Hrs approx. at slow pace - Altitude is 1420m to1720m) It is a moderate walk with long ascents. The hike will be uphill and then downhill, it needs some physical competence. There will be minimal time for rest and photo sessions.

Will start with level 3 till you reach jouar el Jafi and have lunch together by Ain Naasa.

The forest becomes mixed with conifers including the cedar and fir. Afterwards you will continue downhill crossing by Ain Naasa and through a pine forest to the lowest entrance of the natural reserve.

                                                                               

 

Protect yourself and others around you by knowing the facts and taking appropriate precautions:

Distancing from each other is a must.

Cover your nose and mouth with your face masks. To keep it on, while we are in the bus.  

Clean your hands often by using hand gel or other.

 

 

WHAT TO TAKE:

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits, lunch, water, MEDICAL FACE MASKS, HAND GEL, cap, sunglasses, sunscreen woolen hat and gloves. Don't forget anything waterproof to prevent your clothes from getting wet. Wear comfortable walking shoes (Professional brand is recommended) and don't forget to get a light jacket.
